Viktor “Isildur1” Blom has been seen a lot over at the MicroGaming network for the past few days, and today was no different. If you for some reason have missed out on our previous reports earlier this week and last weekend, feel free to catch up on it by following the link below that takes you there:

Isildur1 continuing battle @ MicroGaming [2015-12-22]

Viktor has mainly been focusing on PLO and 2-7 Triple Draw over the last 6 months, but now and then he has been seen playing some No-Limit Holdem, and this is exactly the game that he decided to focus on today, Good Ol No-Limit Holdem, Saul Goodman. This No-Limit Holdem action is now continuing for another day, and who knows, maybe it’s time for Isildur1 to get back to the No-Limit Holdem tables entirely soon? Maybe we will see him on PokerStars crushing Kanu, otB_redbaron, forhaley, and all the other regulars over there? The big question is: Can he crush them? And the easy answer is: Absolutely. There is no doubt in our minds that Viktor is able to crush any player in the world heads-up at No-Limit Holdem, no doubt whatsoever.

It was a battle between Isildur1 (hrskar) and s0nny_blacCk, and the starting stacks at the 50/100 NLHE tables was 10k each, a happy 10k starting stack for Viktor, and a happy 10k starting stack for his opponent. In the beginning it looked pretty dark for Viktor, but as can be seen on the pictures, he managed to fight his way back, and after making a huge comeback at these two tables, he left them with 65k one one table and just over 100k at the other, meaning he had managed to get through a dark period and ending it with sunlight. Well done Isildur1.

After breaking the tables the two were back at it right ahead at new, fresh tables. Here the starting stacks were the same, 10k for each player, and the feeling was that it was going to go well for King Blom straight from the beginning at these two tables, there was this feeling that made you certain that “yeah, no time for downswings here, let’s win”, and im pretty sure this is the mindset Vikor had aswell, there is no time for more downswings, let’s win instead and bink it, ya dig? Viktor wanted to get action going on a third table aswell, but it seemed like s0nny_blacCk wasn’t quite ready for that just yet. it is very gratifying to see him performing so successfully at the No-Limit Holdem tables, given that it was many years ago that he played that game daily, considering that the focus in the most recent time has been on the PLO, FLO8, Mixed 8 Game and 2-7 Triple Draw tables over at PokerStars. We also wonder what will happen in the future, if Viktor keeps winning over at MicroGaming, is he going to transfer it all over to PokerStars and give Ben “Ben86” Tollerene something to worry about, or is he going to stay at MicroGaming for some time now? We also wonder why he doesn’t play the No-Limit Holdem tables at PokerStars instead, but probably he has a good reason for it, and there is no problems with railing at MicroGaming at this very moment, considering they don’t play on hidden tables, something that we would like to thank them for. Like they say in Vegas, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, and we would like to change it to fit better here:

“If we couldn’t rail it, it didn’t happen”, and im pretty sure that most railers agree with me here, even though hidden tables can be good for normal 5 days a week grinders that doesn’t want to be targeted by sharks, in the HighStakes action we want the action to remain as it is now, no hidden HighStakes action please. One can even ask what players would be willing to play HighStakes action if they didn’t know who their opponent was? Exactly, the thing with hidden tables is that it’s only good for the normal grinders, and you know what? Here at we don’t do normal, we do Isildur1, and it is at a level that is as far from normal as it can be.

It didn’t take long for them to start playing on the third table aswell, meaning there was 3 table action for some time during the battle. In the beginning of those 3 tables it did look dark again for our beloved King Blom, but he managed to fight back and did so quite succesfully. Viktor also managed to get strong pocket pairs in, one time he managed to get it all in with pocket KK’s against QQ’s, and the Kings did hold this time, from those of you who normally play over at PokerStars, are probably familiar with busting out of tournaments with strong pocket pairs against weaker ones, but this time over at MicroGaming the KK’s managed to hold, this time. It wouldn’t surprise us at all if he is going to lose with pocket AA’s against random pocket pairs in the future just because of this, we all know how hard it is for pocket AA’s and KK’s to hold, especially preflop, and if the flop looks safe, and then the turn, there is always the river there ready to make you bust, it’s just the way Poker works, and if you want to play Poker, this is something you also have to understand, the variation of the game, and the fact that even if you get it in good with strong pocket pairs, your probably just a slight favorite against your opponent anyways.

There is no current live-tracking available for the MicroGaming network, but we do our best to keep up with the results for Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, and we are working on something to make it easier to track the tables over at MicroGaming, considering these tables isn’t anything that HighstakesDB keeps track of, they have however said that they may be working on it in the future, but who knows is Viktor even is going to continue to play at MicroGaming? Maybe he is just looking to run up a big stack, move it to PokerStars and crush the regs over there, it’s something he has done so many times before and it’s not that unlikely that he is going to do exactly that once again. Grinding the No-Limit Holdem tables at MicroGaming is however a somewhat unusual way for Viktor to build up his bankroll, ofcourse it wasn’t that in the beginning of his Poker career considering No-Limit Holdem is the game he started at and became famous for the best player in the world at, but in the most recent years he has been focusing on completely different games, and that’s also the reason his game at this very moment might not be at the complete top, but this doesn’t stop Isildur1 from playing at the absolute highest levels, he is not the type that takes it’s easy.

We don’t know what’s waiting around the corner, but we think it’s pretty safe to say that more epic No-Limit Holdem battles between Isildur1 and s0nny_blacCk might just be waiting around the corner. Hopefully we will see him back at PokerStars soon aswell, MicroGaming is fine, and the railers can chat, but it’s time to get that something going soon at PokerStars aswell.

The action ended at 13:10 Swedish time, and after that there was no action at all for some time at the tables. We really hope that there is going to be a lot more good action today for us to report on.

Below is a picture timeline from the action that went down yesterday, and as can be seen on the pictures, Isildur1 had some pretty big stacks rocking for some time before deciding to leave the tables and sit down on new ones, and why not right? Why not sit down at fresh tables instead? Fresh, like the morning after a rainstorm.

As can be seen in the picture above, there were a lot of players who wanted to play against the King, but King Blom didn’t want to go 4-way, because you know what KKostya? Viktor is a heads-up specialist, sure, he could surely beat you, but he wants to play heads-up most of the time, maybe next time.

Viktor then moved on to playing even more No-Limit Holdem, but this time against DANMERRR instead, an opponent that he also played against yesterday, feel free to read yesterdays post aswell, to make sure you dont miss out on a single bit of his action. One Swede, One King, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, the best player in the world. Indeed he is.

Then the action continued 3-handed at two tables, and 4-handed on the third one, since truthseeker also decided to join in on the action, sadly however with only a small stack, he was told to reload it if he wanted to sit down with the big boys, but he didn’t do so and continued to play anyways. It seems like there is no respect for anyone over at MicroGaming, it’s only one day left until Christmas and these guys aren’t nice to each other, don’t really understand what the problem is here. Either you reload your stack, or you go play in Kindergarten instead, don’t just sit down with the big boys with a small stack acting all tough.

Isildur1 managed to win some key pots in the 3-handed action, but as always we would like more if he played heads-up instead, considering this is his absolute speciality, and we think that he can win more and bigger if he’s playing heads-up, and he is known for his extreme, worldclass skills when it comes to his heads-up play, it doesn’t really matter what game he play if it’s heads up, (except for H.O.R.S.E and Fixed Holdem), he can crush anyoone, and when we say anyone we mean ANYONE, when it comes to battles at the PLO, 2-7 Triple Draw, 8-Game, FLO8, and ofcourse the No-Limit Holdem tables. He has the ability to and skill to perform wonders, and he has the power to move mountains. Viktor is the modern day fricking Beethoven, he does what he wants and he does it succesfully, and you know what? He doesn’t care if you like him or not, because he knows, HE KNOWS, that sooner or later you will be forced to just love him anyways, because, if you love Poker, you love Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, simple as that, not up for discussion.

Sure, a little bump here and there, and sure, Viktor does go on a minor downswing now and then, but you know what? You need the dark in order to show the light, and the only way to go on a big upswing is to also take the risk that you might go on a big downswing, in Viktor’s case, he is so good that he almost never have to worry about going on a downswing, unless he decides to play Fixed Holdem or H.O.R.S.E, it’s the same thing as if Zlatan decided to try out playing as a defender for some games, why would you even do that, when you are the best in the world at other things at the football field? The same thing applies for Viktor Blom, on the poker field. Why play games you aren’t that good at, when you are the world’s best at a lot of other games?

Exactly, and we think that Isildur1 has realized this now considering he has stopped playing Fixed Limit Hold Em and H.O.R.S.E, and thank god for that. The only thing that’s really negative here is the ending, and as many times before Viktor seems to be having problems with two things: First thing is starting out good, he often seems to be losing in the beginning, just to pick it up later, and when he finally does so, he often drops a big amount of the daily winnings before deciding it’s GG. We do have to consider the day a good day anyways considering it looks like he actually won a decent amount today, but nothing big compared to the swings that happens in his PLO-games, and we really do hope that the PLO actio is going to continue today. If not, we do hope that he decides to play something else, maybe more No-Limit Holdem? We wouldn’t want Isildur1 to disappear from the tables for a couple of weeks again, something that actually has happened from time to time during the year, no long breaks please, gotta keep the tables hot, ya dig?

we thought that Viktor would take a short break now over Christmas, but considering the fact that Christmas starts in Sweden first tomorrow, we believe there might be a chance of him taking a shorter breaker over the Christmas days that’s upcoming. Hopefully, he will be able to bring us some action to write about even though it’s Christmas time, I mean, who likes Christmas? Probably a lot of you little rascalls reading daily news about Isildur1 love Christmas, we are just kidding. We like to joke here, gotta have a little fun sometimes right?

We tell people sometimes: “we’re like drug dealers, come into town and get everybody absolutely addicted to railing. It doesn’t take much to get you addicted to Isildur1 and the amazing action he brings to the tables.” and if you feel that you become addicted to Viktor, there is nothing whatsoever wrong with it, it’s not weird to be a big fan of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one of the best footballers in the entire world, so why would it be weird to be a big of Viktor Blom, THE best Poker player in the entire world? Exactly.

We all know what time it is tomorrow, yep, it’s that time of the year, Christmas time. We will do our best to be here to report if there is anything to report about, but we do believe that Viktor is going to celebrate Christmas with his family back in Sweden in the town of Ed, so there will most likely not be anything to report about tomorrow. if so, we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, and wish you all the best with what you choose to do in the future, maybe 2016 is going to be a good year? We hope so anyways, and we hope that Viktor gets a better start to 2016 than the start he got in 2015, where the first half year wasn’t all that great in terms of results at the Poker tables.

We would also like to give a big thank you to both Joe Ingram, and also to for streaming the action from the King from time to time. It’s been a while since Joe Ingram streamed any live action from Isildur1, and we do hope to see Isildur1 back on the PLO tables at PokerStars soon, because then there is a higher chance that we will see Joe Ingram livestream the action again, and who doesn’t love Joe, right? And if Joe doesn’t have time to stream, hopefully NoseDoto will do so anyways, that’s what’s so good with Viktor Blom. There is always someone out there ready to cover up, there is always someone out there ready to take Viktor under his wings, and that’s why we love the poker community. Sure, some forum members over at TwoPlusTwo might not like our blog, they might not like Viktor Blom, they might say, “Hey, Viktor is a bad player and that’s a bad, bad blog”, you know what we say? We respond such nonsense with only 2 words: That’s ignorant. That’s how we silence all the haters, and you know what? They get silenced, they move away, they go somewhere else, those little rascalls.

We will ofcourse keep all of you updated with what is waiting around the corner, and we hope that the PLO action continues today, considering the good form that Viktor ”Isildur1” Blom seems to be in at this very moment. Oooh, if you have never railed Isildur1, go there while it is still wild. My favorite uncle asked me if I wanted to go there, Uncle Camlin. He said if you don’t rail, you’re going to jail. That is how Uncle Camlin ask’s you.

From all of us here I’d like to wish you happy railing…and God bless my friend
