Just recently we published a big article after the New Year 2016 started, if you for some reason missed out on that article, we strongly suggest that you take a look at it, you might find it very interesting together with all of the lovely images in that article, the article also shows a timeline of what has been going on in terms of action from Isildur1 in the last couple of months, so if you are a fan of Isildur1, make sure you check it out:

Happy New Year – 2016 has arrived [2016-01-01]

2016 – already a good year, action already started

Viktor “Isildur1” Blom has been away from the tables for some time now, probably because of Christmas and New Year. It didn’t take long for Viktor to get back in action, as he was seen back at the MicroGaming network yet again, playing his old favorite game No-Limit Holdem, against the player s0nnY_bLacCk. The two have been battling out for some time now and for a No-Limit Holdem battle at 50/100 stakes, the action is entertaining. It’s not the same as railing Isildur1 playing against Ben86 in PokerStars at 200/400 PLO, it’s not the same as railing him playing x3/x9 against lefivoto at MicroGaming, it’s not the same as seeing him sitting down with 100k stacks and just crushing it, but it’s better than nothing, the action is decent.

We would also like to remind all of you that saw the blog post we published yesterday that was in Swedish, that this is something that we will keep doing from time to time to keep our Swedish visitors happy. Yes, English is a language most people in Sweden actually understands and have as one of the primarily language, but we have gotten a lot of requests to keep up with publishing Swedish articles as well, so hopefully all of you Swedish people out there is happy about this, and hopefully all of you other people around the world is okay with this. All of the big news will still be published in English, and it’s mostly when the action is kinda dry that we will publish articles on Swedish language now and then to keep the blog active. We know it’s not good to have a blog in multiple languages, but having all the main articles in English and just a few of them in Swedish, is not that bad, so hopefully there wont be a riot because of this.

They say everything looks better with odd numbers of things. But sometimes we put even numbers—just to upset the critics, and it’s the same thing here, some people want us to keep publishing Swedish articles, and some of you guys out there wants us to only do it in English. Let’s meet at the middle, let’s start 2016 of with making everyone happy, shall we?

The action went on for many hours, with the last 3+ hours without any real swings in the game, as can be seen in the pictures below from the action.

Isildur1 was also the one seeing leaving the action, which leads us to believe that the action is going to continue later, or he might be back at PokerStars anytime now. We hope to see him back at PokerStars. In just a couple of hours from now a big tournament in Manilla is starting, we would have hoped to see him there, considering it’s a 200k buyin tournament which would suit Viktor very well, but at least he is playing Online which is better than nothing, and he hasn’t played that many live events in most recent years, so maybe he is not such a big fan of them, or he for some other reason haven’t attended them. It would have been so much fun seeing him back at the tables with Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan and the others, heck, even seeing him at the same table as Dan Cates would be interesting, maybe wouldn’t be fun, but it would have been interesting, for sure.

It’s totally understandable that the action is a bit dry right now, considering it’s just been Christmas, and it wasn’t many days ago that it was New Year, so seeing Viktor back at the tables already, just 2 days into the New Year, makes us really happy. We hope that there will be a lot of action from Isildur1 in 2016, and hopefully he can also manage to get some rungood going, mainly because in the most recent time at MicroGaming there hasn’t been that many pots that’s gone to Viktor.

There is no live-tracking available for these games just yet, but we hope that we will have something like that for all of you guys in the future, so it makes it’s easier to actually know if what the results at the end of the sessions are.

Anothery very interesting hand from the evening, both players with a Full House, and with that board I can imagine that Viktor was fairly surprised to see S0nny taking it down with 2 big aces, considering the only hand that would have beaten him is a 5, which is very unlikely, or a pair of queens or kings, or like in this case, Aces, so this is surely a cooler.

Isildur1 taking down a big pot here, hitting the flush on the river. S0nny would have been beaten even if the 5 of spades didn’t show up on the river though, but the question is if Viktor would have been good cold enough to call a bet after the river. This time S0nny didn’t make his flush, but there has been a pretty big amount of hands that he has gotten lucky in earlier against Viktor, so hopefully he will keep missing them so Viktor can keep taking down these huge pots.

What would have been fun is to see more action against lefivoto, if the action is going to continue on MicroGaming. If he however decides to go back to PokerStars, we hope that we will some some great action against Ben “Ben86” Tollerene, so that is what we are hoping for now.

Let’s keep our hopes up, we also have a very interesting interview with a very interesting Poker player to publish very soon, so make sure you keep your eyes open for that, surely all of you out there will enjoy reading that. He is one of the absolute best Poker players in the world, not at the same level as Isildur1 of course, but still one of the World’s best. He might not be a better overall player than Isildur1 in all the games available, but at this very moment he surely has the edge against him in one particular game, a game that this person is the best in the world at.

We are of course going to keep you railers out there updated with what’s waiting next.

Until then, we wish all of you a good ending to the weekend, a good start on 2016, and god bless my friends.
