Viktor “Isildur1” Blom has been playing a lot on PokerStars during the last 24 hours.
Viktor has been focusing most on Mixed 8 Game, but has also been playing a fair amount of PLO during these hours, and Viktor has been successful in both games, leaving him with a 411k$ profit for the last 24 hours.
Small margins that separates profit from loss.
Nah, not this evening.
During the week leading up to this upswing, there has been a lot of speculations in the media about the current status of the Highstakes-action, and the current status of Poker sensation Viktor “Isildur1” Blom. Viktor has not been flawless in 2016, but tonight, he switched on both the skill, the concentration, the magic, and turboed through the tables and demonstrated why he is need the best Poker player in the world, and the General of Online Poker.
Like everything in life, you gotta know when to keep going, and when to quit, and the same thing applies to Poker. You gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away, and know when to run. You never count your money when your sitting at your table, there will be time enough for counting when the dealings done, and this is something that Viktor understood fully yesterday. Cause yes, every hands a winner, and every hands a loser, everything that matters is how you play the hand, and somewhere in the darkness, Isildur1 managed to get his upswing up to over 400k$, before ending the day with a 411k$ profit.
Yesterdays action was streamed by us over at Twitch, where we streamed the action for over 200+ happy railers watching live at our peak hour yesterday.
The channel can be found here. We tell people sometimes, we’re like drug dealers, comes into Twitch and gets everybody absolutely addicted to railing Isildur1.
It doesn’t take much to get addicted.
We will continue to stream the action when the action is good enough to be streamed, we wont be able to stream every session he plays, but when the action is as big as it was yesterday, we will of course continue to stream it.
Below is the statistics for Isildur1 for the last 24 hours on PokerStars:
Cause every good gambler knows, that the secret to surviving, is knowing what to throw away, and knowing what to keep, and yesterday Viktor made it damn sure that he was gonna go out swinging, in an extremely successful manner.
You gotta know when to hold em, kno when to fold em, know when to walk away, and know when to run, and maybe Isildur1 decided to run away with his profit for the day, or maybe joiso was the one who ran away? It doesn’t matter, what matters is that Viktor came out as a winner at the end of the day.
There has been so many hurtful sessions for Viktor lately, and this time Isildur1 was the one who managed to crawl through a river of shit, and came out clean on the other side.
It was a day of success and entertainment, and it was breathtaking action from start to finish.
It really was not perfect, but after all, we believe that Viktor Blom dismisses the perfect Poker evening, too uninteresting to really engage in. Viktor wants the big wins, Viktor wants the huge numbers. Sure, 400k$ is a pretty fair amount of money to win in 24 hours, but for Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, this is just the beginning of what hopefully is going to be the upswing he deserves. He had an amazing year 2015, and hopefully he can make 2016 just as successful.
Isildur1 will continue to be the world’s most brilliant, and the most frustrating Poker player at the same time, and we’ll see which side we’ll see next time.
Something that probably makes a lot of people worried is that a big part of the action yesterday on the tables went down against the russian player Alexander “Joiso” Kostritsyn, probably the best H.O.R.S.E player in the world, and as we have reported on in 2015, there has been a lot H.O.R.S.E action between Isildur1 and Joiso under 2015, something that didn’t ended up in a good way for Viktor, so hopefully he manages to stay away from those tables, atleast against this little rascal.
During his Poker career, Isildur1 has been called a number of different things. Most people out there who actually know something about Poker, agrees that he is without a doubt the most interesting and entertaining Poker player in the history of Poker, but even though Viktor has proven time and time again that he deserves to be crowned as the Ultimate Legend of Online Poker, the Poker world has a desperately difficult time to decide whether to categorize him as just a fun player, or the best player in the world, which is a bit strange because he so obviously is both-and, and all-in-one. Yes, Isildur1 is a fun player, and yes, Isildur1 is the best player who have ever played the game. Period.
But it doesn’t stop here for Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, oh no. It doesn’t stop at winning games, and working hard on the training ground. Viktor will manage a legacy, build on a vision. This is Viktor’s home now, we are his family, and it is our responsibility to make sure that he gets the attention and respect that he deserves.
How do you make a round circle with a square knife? That’s your challenge for the day, and for Viktor, this isn’t even a challenge. It’s not about the money money money, he just wanna make the world dance, forget about the Price Tag. Ain’t about the, babling babling, Viktor just want to make the world dance, he just want to put down a show.
Here is a bit of the action that went down yesterday:
Why is everybody so obsessed? Money can’t buy us happiness. Can’t we all slow down and enjoy right now, GUARANTEED, we be feeling alright. So everybody look to the left, everbody look to their right, can you feel that yeah? We paying with love tonight.
We need to take it back in time, when Poker made us so unite. Bang bang into the room, wait a minute, let Viktor take you there. Bang bang there goes your stack, L8er says Isildur1 and moves on to crush the next player.
And to Alexander “joiso” Kostritsyn, you think you know Viktor “Isildur1” Blom now? Have you forgotten how you would make him feel, when you dragged his spirit down, allowing him to play against you in H.O.R.S.E? The only thing Viktor wanted to get some good action, and you just wouldn’t play him in normal 8-game, you HAD to push it and make it H.O.R.S.E instead. But thank you for the pain, it made Viktor raise his game, and he’s still raising, he’s still raising.
In 8-game you cant stand a chance against Isildur1. So make your jokes, go for broke, blow your smoke, your not alone, there is a lot of players out there who thinks they got what it takes to beat Isildur1, but who’s laughing now? So raise the bar, hit him hard, play your cards, be a star, But who’s laughing now? Who’s laughing now?
We will of course keep you all updated with what’s waiting next, and if you haven’t done so already, make sure you check out or Twitch channel here.
Until then, take care.
